Mini Marsupial Craft Day

Shrink, Create, and Collect Your Favorite Pocket-Sized Animal!

Get ready for a wildly creative adventure as we celebrate the fascinating world of marsupials through art. During this hands-on activity day, youth will design and create their very own marsupial-themed Shrinky Dink masterpiece featuring animals like kangaroos, koalas, wombats, sugar gliders, Tasmanian devils, and more.

Students will color, customize, and watch their artwork magically shrink into durable mini creations they can turn into keychains, backpack charms, jewelry, or collectible keepsakes. Along the way, participants will learn fun facts about these unique pouch-carrying animals from around the world while exploring creativity, design, and self-expression.

Whether you create a bold bouncing kangaroo or a sleepy koala masterpiece, every artist will leave with a one-of-a-kind creation and a new appreciation for these incredible animals.

This enrichment class is offered in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low while providing engaging before- and after-school opportunities. Students enrolled in this class will check in with Friendship Connection, enjoy a snack, and have a brief recess before class begins.
