Transitioning to Retirement: Joy, Purpose and Meaning
Retirement is one of life’s biggest transitions that can bring freedom, flexibility and often an entirely new state of mind. But be aware, it can initially be an abrupt social, emotional and intellectual change. We will discuss the myths and realities that surround retirement. How to find purpose, how to stay socially connected and reinventing yourself, and what you can become. You will also receive handouts and a list of resources to help you transition into a life filled with joy and purpose.

Bob Koehler
Bob Koehler was a life-long entrepreneur having started 5 small companies in his career. Active and engaged he thought that retirement would come naturally and easily. Finding that it was a good deal more complicated he became consumed with the need to understand this major transition and spent 2 ½ years studying the topic, reading endless books, attending conferences and interviewing endless numbers of those preparing for and those already on the retirement journey. Bob is dedicated to helping others to prepare and give them the tools to begin building a new life filled with passion and purpose in their post career life.
