Field Trip Fridays! - Tamarack Nature Center

Connect with other families and ECFE staff as we enjoy time together! Caregivers/parents are responsible for transportation to the field trip and supervision of their children during the entire time at the site. ECFE staff will meet you at the site. This is a non-separating field trip. Ages Birth - 5 years and their siblings up to 12 years as of the field trip date. Register all children that will attend. Any weather-related announcements will be emailed.

Tamarack Nature Center: Explore Discovery Hollow Nature Play

Play, dig, plant, learn, create, and explore! Discovery Hollow invites children to run, explore, and connect with nature through hands-on play. Bring a change of clothes and towel because learning is fun and messy!

Play features include:
The Wood: Build and create your own tree fort
The Overlook: Climb and explore natural rock features
The Stream: Build dams and discover how water flows
The Garden: Help water, and care for growing plants
The Hobbit House: Crawl and climb through this cozy nature hideaway
