For students going into 7th, 8th and 9th grade. Get back into the groove of playing your instrument, learn some new skills, and make great memories. Each day, students will participate in sectionals and rehearsals in order to prepare for the final concert on Thursday, June 25th! Please note: Transportation will not be available this year

For students who have completed 4th grade. After almost two weeks of daily lessons, a beginning instrumentalist will be playing a rousing march with precision! Each day, students participate in music theory, band rehearsal, and a recreational period. It’s a great time to make new friends! Attendance the first week of camp is required. Contact your school’s band teacher if this is a problem. Instrument assignments will be sent out during the week of May 5th. If you register before then, please note that your assignment may be subject to change. Please Note: Transportation is not available this year

Intro to Jazz Band This camp is for all students who have completed 5th, 6th and 7th grade who have no prior jazz band experience but are interested in learning about Jazz. We will learn about the Blues Scale, Jazz articulations, and improvisation. Intermediate/Advance Jazz Camp This camp is for all students who have completed 5th, 6thand 7thwho have prior jazz band experience and are interested in furthering their jazz studies. We will learn about the Blues Scale, Mode Warm Ups, Jazz articulations, and improvisation. Join us for our final concert on Thursday, June 25th

Students registered for both Band Camps and Jazz Band Camps are invited to stay in-between for lunch, games and musical themed fun!

Camp will run Aug 3-6, from 12:00-3:00pm M-Th, campers are invited to stay until their performance on the last day; we will celebrate with a pizza party and get ready for our concerts! Intermediate Orchestra: For students who are entering 5th or 6th grade. Performance will be at 4:30pm in the RAMS Auditorium on Friday, August 7th Advanced Orchestra: For students who are entering 7th or 8th grade. Performance will be at 5:00pm in the RAMS Auditorium on Friday, August 7th Registrations that come in after July 10th are not guaranteed a Camp T Shirt. Please Note: There will not be transportation available this year

Open to students entering grades 9–12 as well as Roseville alumni! RAHS Summer Orchestra Camp will take place August 3–7 from 9:30–11:30 AM. The week will conclude with a short showcase performance for our Elementary Orchestra Camp participants and families on August 7th at 5:30 This camp is designed for students who play violin, viola, cello, or bass and offers an enriching musical experience. Participants will rehearse and perform a variety of engaging and popular repertoire at a level comparable to the RAHS Orchestra program. Students should be able to read music and demonstrate high school level proficiency on their instrument.
