Have you ever wanted to try your hand at Abstract Art that is fun and Colorful? Alcohol Ink (AI) is a new painting technique that just screams ABSTRACT. With so many different techniques, AI will soon become a favorite medium. To make your Sugar Plum Tree, you will first create the background by blowing the Alcohol ink with a hand blower and Isopropyl Alcohol. Then you will create the vase with dripping the AI and spreading with dental tools. Next, you can drop various inks in any color to create your flowers. The last step is to highlight your flowers with doodles. Remember this is the fun part – explore your creativity. Your instructor will help guide you through each step. You will make one 8” x 10” painting in your chosen colors. Given time, you can create a 2nd painting. Just come to have fun and enjoy yourself. This course is intended for the novice to beginner; you do not need prior experience to enroll in this class. There will be a set curriculum to help you understand and feel comfortable as you discover your artistic journey using watercolors.
