Design, build, and decorate your very own gingerbread masterpiece using colorful candies, icing, and a variety of fun decorating materials. Whether you create a cozy cottage, a towering castle, or an imaginative creation all your own, this challenge is all about creativity, collaboration, and fun. Participants will explore design, engineering, and artistic expression as they bring their edible masterpiece to life in a supportive and engaging environment.This enrichment class is offered in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low while providing engaging before- and after-school opportunities. Students enrolled in this class will check in with Friendship Connection, enjoy a snack, and have a brief recess before class begins.

This program offers a crash course in coding your own games on Scratch. Students will create and develop 3-4 basic games while learning many foundational computer science skills with boundless potential for creativity and expansion. Apply your Scratch coding skills to robotics or continue creating games. Test your robots by solving specific challenge problems generated during the program! NEW UPDATE- This program utilizes Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) for student instructional activities. The parent/guardian email address provided at registration will be used to establish and maintain the student’s Scratch account and to acknowledge Scratch’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Discover the paws-itively awesome world of puppies! Young animal lovers will create a backyard scene to discover what it takes to care for a dog and create their own balloon pup to train and nurture. This hands-on class blends creativity, science, and tons of tail-wagging fun!
