Introduction to GlassblowingArtThis class is great for beginners without any experience! The students will learn safety fundamentals, tool and torch usage, solid rod welding and gathering, color application, shaping, and more. Students can potentially create things such as small sculptural items, marbles, paper weights, plant rods, or anything else that can be thought of with the skills learned. Let your creativity guide you! Attire Requirements: No sandals or open footwear – shoes must be fully enclosed from toe to heel No loose sleeves and long dangling necklaces/bracelets Tops and/or sweaters must be zipped, buttoned, or closed while around the working area Long hair must be tied back Please come to class fed and hydrated – standing is required for the duration of the class for optimal safety. Explore the fun, rewarding possibilities of the growing remote voiceover industry! Discover the current trends in the industry and how easy and affordable it can be to learn, set up and work from home. You’ll learn about different types of voiceovers and tools you’ll need to find success. You’ll get a comprehensive introduction into the voice over industry. You’ll learn through real life accounts of jobs your instructor has booked and get an inside look at their experience. Then it’s time to read a script and receive some coaching and performance ideas. JazzerciseFitnessClasses will be held in-person & Livestreamed on Zoom. Once you have registered for the class, you can choose which way you want to participate. Each day you will receive an email with the link for the Zoom class so you can choose to come in-person, or dance in your living room! Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays: Cardio Sculpt A high intensity 60 minute mix of dance-based cardio and strength training for a calorie-crushing total body workout. One session: $10Five sessions: $40 Register and pay online or register and pay at the front desk at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center. Unused passes from the previous season are still valid. For any session that starts after 4:00pm or is on weekends, you must pay in advance and show confirmation at check in or pay in cash. We cannot accept credit cards during that time period. Please view our pool guidelines and safety regulations on the Aquatics FAQ page before using our facilities. One adult for every two children 14 years and younger must be present with them during swim times. Children left unattended will not be allowed to swim. LefseCooking & FoodIf you are Norwegian and missed recording Grandma's lefse recipe, tips, and techniques, this is the class for you! Even if you aren't Norwegian, you'll love this delicious treat! Learn how to make the dough and bake, store, and serve lefse - with a bonus bit of history and humor, too. We will make an authentic recipe with real potatoes and a modern version with instant potatoes. At the end of class, you can sample your fresh creations with traditional fillings.
