Greek DinnerCooking & FoodImmerse yourself in the flavors of Greece as we prepare a delicious, multi-course feast. You’ll start with the beloved national soup, Soupa Avgolemono - a comforting lemon chicken soup. The menu also features a classic flaming cheese appetizer, saganaki, along with a flavorful eggplant starter. For the main course, explore a unique twist on a traditional favorite with zucchini and ground lamb moussaka. You’ll also learn to create delicate spinach-filled phyllo pastries, spanakopita, and finish on a sweet note with karidopita, a rich walnut cake soaked in fragrant orange syrup. You’ll learn songs while also exploring keys, basic chord theory, and essential techniques—like reading chord diagrams and charts, forming chords, and flatpick strumming. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve, this is a fun, social way to grow your musical skills. Students need to bring their own instrument and music stand. Your party will have access to a private community room rental for presents, cake, and celebration! Tables and chairs will be provided by us. Hand Knit Chunky Blanket - Basket Weave DesignArtJoin us for a fun, beginner-friendly class where you’ll create your own cozy chunky knit blanket—no knitting experience or needles required! Jeremy Ross, founder of Paint & Sip Minnesota by Your Bearded Artist, will guide you step-by-step through hand knitting a beautiful basket weave blanket with border. All supplies are included, including 140 yards (5 skeins) of soft size 7 chunky yarn in your choice of colors. Finished blankets measure approximately 40” x 50”. Hand Knit Chunky Pillow SnowmanArtJoin us for a fun, no-experience-needed class where you’ll hand knit one cozy pillow snowman. Jeremy Ross, founder of Paint & Sip Minnesota by Your Bearded Artist, will guide you step-by-step through hand knitting your very own soft, chunky snowman pillow. No needles or knitting experience is required, and all supplies will be provided. You will receive 27 yards (1 skein) of size 7 chunky yarn (100% polyester) available in a variety of colors, stuffing, and decorative touches like hat and buttons. Harambee School YearFriendship ConnectionFriendship Connection is the district's school-age childcare program that provides care before and after school, on non-school days, and during the summer. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and offer our students opportunities in areas such as science, engineering, creative arts, cooking, sports/fitness, language arts, and technology. Registration for School Year 2026-27 is now open! All registrations will take time to process. We will contact you if your registration is on hold due to staffing.
