This program offers a crash course in coding your own games on Scratch. Students will create and develop 3-4 basic games while learning many foundational computer science skills with boundless potential for creativity and expansion. Apply your Scratch coding skills to robotics or continue creating games. Test your robots by solving specific challenge problems generated during the program! NEW UPDATE- This program utilizes Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) for student instructional activities. The parent/guardian email address provided at registration will be used to establish and maintain the student’s Scratch account and to acknowledge Scratch’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Discover the rich culture of henna. Henna is a dye prepared from leaves of a henna tree also known as Egyptian privet. Henna is temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from the dyes. After stains reach their peak color, they hold for a few days, then gradually wear off, typically within two to three weeks. Learn the basics of henna tattoos and practice them. The instructor will fill in or finish your henna design and take home henna cone. All the materials will be provided.

Ignite your love for the game! Our soccer camps teach essential skills—dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense—through technical drills and exciting games. We group players by level, ensuring everyone is challenged while learning the values of Respect, Hustle, and Pride. We finish the club with a scrimmage. What to bring: Water bottle (shin guards/spikes optional). Soccer balls are provided.

Celebrate the beauty of nature through art in this fun and creative mixed-media class! Students will design a beautiful framed fall tree picture using preserved moss and other natural elements to capture the colors and textures of autumn. Then, they will paint a colorful background on canvas and create a whimsical button tree using vibrant buttons for leaves, adding their own artistic flair and imagination. Each child will leave with two beautiful pieces of artwork ready to display at home.

Students will create their own healthy caramel apple snack using fresh apples and a variety of fun toppings. They'll enjoy getting creative while making a delicious fall treat to celebrate the season! This enrichment class is offered in partnership with our school-age care program, Friendship Connection, which helps us keep costs low while providing engaging before- and after-school opportunities. Students enrolled in this class will check in with Friendship Connection, enjoy a snack, and have a brief recess before class begins.
