Your party will have access to the new Aŋpétu Téča Education Center gymnasium and one community room for gifts and cake. Let's get this party started! Your party will have access to a private community room rental for presents, cake, and celebration! Tables and chairs will be provided by us. ACT Prep WorkshopAcademicZAPS test-preparation seminars are designed to help each student do their personal best on the ACT. Elementary Coding & STEM Club with CSGAScience & TechnologyThis program offers a crash course in coding your own games on Scratch. Students will create and develop 3-4 basic games while learning many foundational computer science skills with boundless potential for creativity and expansion. Apply your Scratch coding skills to robotics or continue creating games. Test your robots by solving specific challenge problems generated during the program! NEW UPDATE- This program utilizes Scratch (scratch.mit.edu) for student instructional activities. Young artists will explore blending, layering, and composition as they design dramatic sunsets, dreamy landscapes, ocean adventures, and underwater habitats. Henna Workshop with Acrylic Studio ArtCreative ArtsDiscover the rich culture of henna. Henna is a dye prepared from leaves of a henna tree also known as Egyptian privet. Henna is temporary body art resulting from the staining of the skin from the dyes. After stains reach their peak color, they hold for a few days, then gradually wear off, typically within two to three weeks. Learn the basics of henna tattoos and practice them. Through songs, games, and festive cultural traditions, students build Spanish vocabulary and gain confidence using simple conversations. Virtual Competition Chess ClubAcademicThis program is for players of all grades interested in participating and competing in tournament chess, or just want an extra challenge so their chess ability can improve to the next tactical level. Players will meet Saturday morning “online” for chess instruction and fun competitive play. Supervision and expert coaching will be provided for participants at in-person tournaments. Any players that participate in competitions will represent the “Roseville Chess Team” for that tournament. Perfect for students that want extra challenges.
