Gym Birthday Party Packages at Aŋpétu Téča Education CenterSpecial InterestHost your child's next birthday party with us at Aŋpétu Téča Education Center! Your party will have access to the new Aŋpétu Téča Education Center gymnasium and one community room for gifts and cake. Let's get this party started! If you have any questions before reserving your package, feel free to call or email us! $225 Package: Have up to 20 guests! (Adult/parent supervision is required at all times.) Your party will have access to a private community room rental for presents, cake, and celebration! Tables and chairs will be provided by us. Your party will get exclusive access to our gymnasium for up to 3 hours, including set-up time! Choose from basketballs, dodgeballs, soccer balls, or hula hoops/jump ropes for your party to play with! For an extra fee, you can add on: $100 for an extra hour of party time. $25 for additional equipment rental. To complete your registration, please contact our registration desk at 651-604-3770. Please reach out to schedule birthday parties by the 15th of the month prior in order to help us ensure staffing for your event date and determine if there are any scheduling conflicts. Cake Bake Taste Test CampCookingStudents will get to test and taste different baking recipes of cakes and observe the differences between them. This fun, tasty take on a measurable science experiment will leave students wanting more as we explore how different ingredients and their amounts impact the texture, density, and taste of a cake. We’ll also experiment with cooking methods, including air fryer cakes, toaster oven cakes, and microwave cakes. Please identify any food allergies or restrictions at the start of class or upon registration. Raider Boys Hoops AcademyHealth and WellnessThe Raider Hoops Academy is designed to help players develop the individual skills necessary to succeed in today’s fast-paced game. Unlike a traditional camp that covers many different activities, this program focuses specifically on the core basketball skills that translate directly to game performance. Led by Coach Critchley, this session will emphasize skill development through teaching, repetition, and game-like situations. Players will learn drills and techniques they can continue to use on their own to improve throughout the summer and beyond. Areas of emphasis include: Shooting: Rhythm and Repetition – Developing consistent shooting mechanics and confidence through proper form and high-quality repetitions. Ball Handling and Dribbling – Improving control, creativity, and the ability to handle pressure. Creating Space and decision making – Learning moves and techniques that allow players to create scoring opportunities for themselves and their teammates while understanding the importance of decision making. Finishing at the Basket – Players will learn the fundamentals of finishing at the rim, including proper footwork, body control, balance, and touch. Instruction will emphasize a variety of finishing moves. This program is designed to help prepare players who aspire to compete at the high school level, giving them the skills, habits, and understanding needed to become more competitive players. Raiders Gymnastics CampHealth and WellnessThe RAHS Gymnastics Camp offers a dynamic and inclusive summer training experience for athletes of all levels. Designed for girls interested in joining the RAHS gymnastics team or maintaining their skills during the off-season. The Raiders Off Season Training Camp welcomes not only Raider gymnasts, but also newcomers and athletes from across the Suburban East Conference and Section 4AA. The program has grown in popularity for its unique blend of skill development and summer fun within a supportive community. Gymnasts will train on all four events while building strength and conditioning, developing foundational skills, and beginning to craft routines. Along the way, athletes will have the opportunity to connect with coaches and teammates, making it an ideal environment for growth and team bonding. Led by accomplished high school senior wrestlers Anica "Bo" Barze of Roseville and Nora Akpan of Centennial, this clinic promises an engaging and supportive environment. By participating, you’ll not only learn and enhance your skills but also support our goal of raising funds for national tournaments. The Good Witches Save Oz Musical Theater Camp with Mayer ArtsCreative ArtsHelp Glinda and the Wicked Witch of the West save Oz in the final act of this Wickedly Wonderful story! Choose a character, learn music and choreography and create your own musical. Learn how to properly speak your lines, block a scene, develop your character and much more! We will also play fun, creative theater games. All that is needed are comfortable clothing and shoes, a nut free snack and a water bottle. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day where athletes can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack (spikes and shin guards are optional). Robotic Builders with Tech AcademyScience & TechnologyYes, we CAN learn about robotics! With the LEGO® WeDo robotics system, young children can build and program their robotic creations. Designed by the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Young imaginations soar! The LEGO® Education WeDo Robotics Builder class allows students to explore different concepts in robotics. Possible models may include dancing birds, a hungry alligator robot, goal kicker robot, a rescue plane, and a smart spinner robot.
