Soccer Camp with Dash SportsHealth and WellnessDASH Sports Summer soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense) training and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day where athletes can showcase their skills. Athletes should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and a snack (spikes and shin guards are optional). You will get ALL of Sandra's tips/tricks associated with sourdough bread making focused on keeping the process simple and manageable for anyone interested in making sourdough bread. This 90 minute in-person Sourdough Starter workshop includes a fresh active starter and printed copy of the essential information for each registered participant. Spanish ¡Vamos!AcademicCelebrate the seasons in Spanish with Vamos con las Tradiciones y Celebraciones. Through songs, games, and festive cultural traditions, students build Spanish vocabulary and gain confidence using simple conversations. Fall lessons explore fall and winter themes, while spring introduces spring and summer topics. Along the way, students discover celebrations from Spanish-speaking cultures while practicing greetings, colors, weather, clothing, emotions, nature, and seasonal vocabulary. Strong is the New Skinny: Strengthening Exercises to do at Home (Online Class)Mind & BodyNot everyone can be skinny, but EVERYONE can be stronger - even if you don’t get to the gym several times/week. Learn how to strengthen your arms, back, shoulders, chest, hips, butt and thighs using resistance bands while watching your favorite TV or radio show. There are many benefits to having stronger muscles – they boost metabolism; maintain/increase bone density, make daily tasks easier and help you age with quality and grace. These multi-tasking exercises can fit easily into even the busiest of schedules. It is a wonderful thing to be strong, fit and functional. T'ai Chi ChihFitnessExplore the benefits of T’ai Chi Chih, a moving meditation that improves balance and flexibility, reduces stress, and promotes mindfulness and concentration. The practice of T’ai Chi Chih is easy to learn regardless of age or physical ability. Come as you are—no special clothing required, just bring flexible shoes or barefoot. Tantalizing Thai Cuisine (Participation Class)Cooking & FoodYou’ll begin by preparing Vietnamese summer rolls (fresh) served with both hoisin and peanut sauce for dipping. Included are Vietnamese spring rolls (fried) with pork, turkey, and glass noodles stuffed in rice paper and fried crisp and golden. You'll then prepare Pad Thai blending the vibrant flavors of Thailand with rice noodles, breast of chicken, eggs, chilies, garlic, basil, scallions, bean sprouts, and more. For dessert, Thai lime custard topped with fresh whipped cream. Please note: this class is non-refundable in the event of weather cancellations.
