Take your swimming farther with Club 500! This class is designed for swimmers who already have a solid foundation and are ready to refine their technique while building strength and endurance, 500 yards at a time. Instruction focuses on all four competitive strokes—freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly—as well as efficient resting strokes, including sidestroke and elementary backstroke. Swimmers will improve stroke mechanics, endurance, pacing, and overall confidence through structured workouts. Whether the goal is fitness, skill development, or becoming a stronger, more efficient swimmer, Club 500 is the perfect next step. Participants must have successfully completed Level 5 or Level 6 swim lessons, or demonstrate equivalent skills through a swim assessment and receive instructor approval before enrolling. Parkview Pool is kept at a cooler temperature, ideal for lap swimming, water exercise, and competitive swim. This 6-lane, 25-yard pool also features a 3–5 foot depth and includes an 11-foot diving well.
