We will discuss how to use all your senses in a new destination to create more detailed and in-depth descriptions that capture and maintain readers’ interest, and whether or not you need to include photos with your work. You will also learn how to find and submit your finished product to print and online markets, the business side of travel writing (how to take travel tax deductions), and how to avoid worn-out travel writing cliches. Learn a clever new technique for wet felting with a resist and create a sturdy bowl to hold your keys, chocolates or simply to brighten up your creative space. Use bits and pieces of fabric, yarn, and fibers to decorate your bowl, inside and out. This is not Leslie’s popular vessels class. Here, you will expand your sculptural wet felting repertoire with this sturdier vessel-making technique while at the same time exploring color, texture and adding fun to your creative practice! DASH Sports Summer Floor Hockey camps provide players with a well-rounded hockey experience covering a broad range of skills training and skill-based games. Players will be taught how to properly stickhandle, pass, shoot, and play defense in a fun and positive environment. Athletes should wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle and a snack. Sticks and pucks are provided.
